El-kanemi Warriors edged Nasarawa United 4-3 in a seven-goal spectacle in the Lafia City Stadium the home of the Solid Miners. Remo Stars secured a 2-0 win over Kano Pillars in their temporary abode in Katsina, thanks to goals from Sodiq Ismail and Frank Mawuena.

River United’s 1-0 victory over Lobi Stars, courtesy of Kabir Abdullahi’s goal to condemn the Lafia tenant into shocks which showcased the league’s competitive spirit. Former champions Plateau United suffered a 2-1 loss to Niger Tornadoes at the New Jos Stadium.
