Students Threaten Protest As Water And Electricity Scarcity Hits NSUK

Students of Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) have threatened to embark on a protest to register their dissatisfaction with the scarcity of water and electricity on their campus.
Students of the Mass Communications Department of the University led by the President of the Mass Communications Students Association (MACOSSA), Opeyemi Mary, were set to commence their protest before it was interrupted by the Dean of Student Affairs in person of Prof. Abdullahi Modibo.
Speaking to the angry students, Prof. Modibo begged them to keep calm and be patient with the management of the university as they were already making efforts to solve the problem.
According to the Dean of Student Affairs, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Suleiman Bala Mohammed has ensured that everything will be put in order within two days.
The NSUK SUG President who was present added his voice in appealing to the students to give the school management opportunity to fix the problems as they have promised.
In response, the MACOSSA President appreciated the Dean of Student Affairs as well as the SUG President for their intervention.
The MACOSSA President then suspended the protest with the hope that all challenges will be resolved as promised by the school management.
