Senator Ewuga Loses Daughter In Cameroon Plane Crash
Senator Solomon Ewuga has lost his daughter in a plane crash which occurred in Cameroon on Wednesday May 11, 2022.
Adzuayi who is Senator Ewuga’s second daughter, was the pilot of the ill-fated DHC 4-600 aircraft belonging to Caverton Aviation based in Cameroon.
Early reports stated that the plane was carrying a total of 11 passengers and it crashed after it lost radio contact with air traffic controllers during a serious storm.
According to a statement by the Cameroon Ministry of Transport, the wreckage was later located in the forest near Nanga Eboko, around 150 kilometers northeast of the capital Yaoundé.
It has been confirmed that there were no survivors in the plane crash which was the first major air catastrophe reported in Cameroon since 2007 when a Kenya Airways plane carrying 114 people crashed after take-off from Douala Airport.
