Patrick Enna Family Keeps Up With Tradition, Splash Gifts On Widows At New Year
In keeping up with their family tradition every New Year Day, the Patrick Enna family has splashed gifts on widows drawn from various communities in Lafia and Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State.

The event which held at the residence of Hon. Peter Patrick Enna saw about 100 widows go away with foodstuff and wrappers.

Speaking on the gesture by his family, Hon. Peter Patrick Enna said: “We are here to celebrate the New Year with the less privileged. As you can see, year in, year out, God has been blessing us in one way or the other. And the little I can afford, is what you saw that we are sharing with the widows today being 1st January.”

He emphasized that though he is a politician, the gesture to the widows has nothing to do with politics as it has become a habit for him every year.
Hon. Peter Enna also took time to call on the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to look into the plight of the common Nigerian especially as it concerns insecurity and economic hardship. He urged the President to fulfill his campaign promises to make life easier and better for Nigerians.


Earlier, the Patrick Enna family held a thanksgiving at the St. Augustine Catholic Church inside at the Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic Lafia. It was at the course of the thanksgiving mass that Hon. Peter Enna donated a sum of two million naira to the church. According to him, the money was for the maintenance of the church building and also the construction of a Sunday School class for the children in the church.
