NSHA Considers N4.6Bn Supplementary Budget

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly on Monday (October 21, 2019) allowed the 2019 supplementary appropriation bill submitted by Governor Abdulhahi Sule of the state to go through second reading.

Rt, Hon. Speaker of the house, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdulahi, who announced this in a plenary sitting, stated that “before you is a bill for a law to issue out of the consolidated revenue of the state, supplementary and appropriation bill of the sum of N4, 678,169,203 billion and an adjustment of N1,827,156,220 billion only for the services of Nasarawa State Government.”

After some preliminary statements by the Majority leader of the House, the Speaker then committed the bill to the House Standing Committee on Finance and Appropriation to discuss and report back to the House on the 29th October, 2019.
