NNL Urges Clubs To Sink Into Action Ahead Of 2020/21 Season
The board of the second tier of Nigeria club football, Nigeria National League has advised clubs to sink into action in preparation as they look to get the 2020/2021 season back underway.
The advice came in a communique which was forwarded to management of the clubs concerned.
According to the communique which was signed by the Chief Operating Officer, Emmanuel Adesanya, the directive is in line with directives from the NFF for football activities to commence but with strict compliance with Covid-19 protocols.
It states: “In view of the foregoing, the NNL Management wishes to advise all clubs that preparations and modalities for the commencement of the new season should begin immediately at club level.
“This should however include full implementation of COVID-19 rules and regulations.
“Please note that the NNL will as a matter of concern monitor your level of compliance and implementation of COVID-19 protocols on a weekly basis.”
The NNL also stated that it will abide by the NFF time table for the resumption of the 2020-2021 season.
