Nasarawa United Pays Courtesy Visit to Nasarawa State FA

A strong delegation of the Nasarawa United board members has paid a courtesy visit to the Nasarawa State Football Association today in Lafia.
The delegation which was led by the club chairman, Mallam Ibrahim Osanga also had in attendance club welfare secretary, Alhaji Salisu Galadima and Team manager, Wambai Yahaya Musa.
Mallam Ibrahim Osanga speaking during the visit, disclosed that the purpose of the visit is to solicit for the support of the State FA wherein he acknowledged that without the FA there will not be football in the state describing Nasarawa United as an institution, as a child that needs the proper guidance of its father (the FA).
“The relationship between the last board where I was a passenger and the FA was not cordial. But now that I am in charge as the driver I am here with my members to solicit for your unalloyed support so that our work will be easy.”
He continued: “Leaders need to be respected. And in so doing, we want to establish a great working relationship as the general interest is about the State which supersedes all. If Nasarawa United had offended you in any way, kindly forgive us because to err is human and to forgive is divine,” Osanga concluded.
The Vice Chairman of the Nasarawa State FA, Alhaji Haladu Akwashiki on behalf of the Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed and it’s board members welcomed the entire Nasarawa United board members as he equally appreciated the efforts put in place by the Osanga-led board members.
Alhaji Haladu Akwashiki said: “We want to commend and appreciate you for recognizing the importance of the FA. And for this gesture, we will surely work together so as to make Nasarawa United a formidable force within and outside Nigeria”.
Haladu went on to highlight some things the new board are expected to put in place so as to have a hitch free NPFL season.
