Nasarawa State Government Commiserates With NYSC Over Demise Of Corps Member
Nasarawa State Government has commiserated with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) over the demise of one of its corps members who was serving in Nasarawa State.
The Nasarawa State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development and Chairman, National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Governing Board, Nasarawa State, Amb. Lucky Isaac Yargwa, in the condolence message said the State Government was “shocked to learn of the news about the death of a promising young Nigerian full of life and great expectations for the future.

“We are completely devastated about this sad commentary.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with her immediate family, her colleagues, and NYSC, both in Nasarawa State and at the National level.
“We pray for God to comfort all those affected by her painful passing, and also grant her eternal repose in heaven.”
The deceased corps member, Ajang Blessing Ajiji, with State Code Number, NS/21B/1800, and Call-Up Number, NYSC/FPV/2021127819 had slumped and died at her Place of Primary Assignment, Government Junior Secondary School, Mangar, Farin Ruwa Development Area, Wamba Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, after battling with pneumonia.
Her body has since been deposited at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) mortuary and the burial is scheduled for Tuesday, 29th March, 2022, in Plateau State.
