Nasarawa, Russian Consortium Sign MoU on Abuja-Keffi Rail Construction

Nasarawa State government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Russian rail transport giant, Transmashholding JSC on the development of the Abuja-Keffi rail and a rolling stock production center.

A press statement issued by the SSA Media to the governor of Nasarawa State, Ali Abare, said the MoU  was signed on the sidelines of the Russia Africa Summit in Sochi hosted by the Russian President  Vladimir Putin, kickstarting a cooperation between both parties to jointly explore the advancement of the transport sector which will have an immense impact on the economic development of Nasarawa State.

Both parties will begin to work towards actualizing the purpose of the understanding.
