Nasarawa records five suspected cases of coronavirus
Nasarawa State has today (March 19) recorded five suspected cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19.
The cases are from a family of five who have been quarantined at the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Keffi.
Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Adamu Yahaya who spoke to a journalist through a telephone disclosed that the family arrived from Ogun State today.
He said they presented with symptoms similar to that of the COVID-19.
Dr Yahaya said samples have already been collected and taken for test and they would remain in isolation pending when the results will be ready.
This will be the first suspected case of COVID-19 in Nasarawa State.
