Nasarawa Governor Signs 2020 Budget Into Law
Nasarawa State Governor Engr Abdullahi A. Sule today signed into law the 2020 budget.
The budget which was recently passed by the state house of Assembly, was signed by the Governor in the presence of his deputy, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Balarabe Abdullahi and other members of the state executive council and the state house of assembly.
During the exercise, Governor Abdullahi Sule called on members of his executive council to ensure effective implementation of the budget for speedy development of the state.
He also took time to commend the speaker and members of the state assembly for keeping to their words to ensure speedy passage of the budget as well as doing justice to it.
The Speaker on his part appreciated the Governor for encouraging heads of MDAs to corporate with the Assembly during the exercise which he said, gave room for the success achieved.
The Speaker then added that the Nasarawa State project is a collective responsibility and therefore a duty bound on all citizens to strive to achieve.
