Nasarawa Chief Judge Appoints Enoch Ali Maku As SSA

The Chief Judge of Nasarawa State and Chairman, Nasarawa State Judicial Service Commission, Honourable Justice Aisha Bashir Aliyu has appointed Chief Enoch Ali Maku as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Protocol and Media.

A statement from the office of the Nasarawa State Chief Judge who is also the Chairman, Administration of Criminal Justice Nasarawa State Chapter, disclosed that the appointment takes effect from January 6, 2025.

It further revealed that before his appointment as SSA, Chief Enoch Ali Maku served as Director of Information and Protocol at the High Court of Justice Headquarters in Lafia. A role he retired from in December 2020.

According to the statement, “Because of his hardwork, dedication and diligence, he (Chief Enoch Ali Maku) was retained on contract appointment for two years. And after the two years, he was again re-engaged for another two years which elapsed January 6, 2025.”

Chief Enoch Ali Maku who holds the reverred traditional titles of Jarumin Agyaragun Tofa District (and its environs) and Danburan Koro Kuje Chiefdom, is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). He has also attended numerous conferences, workshops and seminars at home and abroad. This is the wealth of knowledge and experience he is expected to bring into his new role.
