Nasarawa Assembly Speaker Sympathizes With Family, Lafia North Constituency Over Demise Of Pioneer NSHA Minority Leader

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has sympathized with the people of Lafia North Constituency and the family of late Muhammed Umar Bwalla, the pioneer Minority Leader of the State House of Assembly.

This is contained in a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwamna and made available to newsmen in Lafia.

Muhammed Umar Bwalla whose death was announced in the early hours of today (June 11, 2020), was elected to represent Lafia North Constituency in the First Assembly from 1999 to 2003.

In the statement, Rt. Hon. Balarabe Abdullahi urged the family of the deceased, Shabu Emirate Council and the entire people of Lafia North to see his death as an act of God.

He said: “Your death came at the time the constituency and the entire State at large needed your fatherly advice the most.

“There is nothing we can do. We thank Allah for your life well spent.

“May Allah comfort the immediate family, Shabu Emirate Council, the people of the constituency and the entire State.

“May Allah in His infinite mercy give you Aljanah firdaus. Ameen and may Allah forgive him his shortcomings and bless his soul with aljannah firdaus,” the statement said.

Balarabe Abdullahi prayed Allah to gives the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Until his death, Muhammed Umar Bwalla was serving as the PRO in the Hon. Francis Orogu-led caretaker committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa State.
