Nasarawa Assembly Elections: APC Gets 11 Seats, PDP 8, SDP 2, NNPP 2 With One Pending
The seventh assembly of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly is set to be almost evenly balanced as the All Progressives Congress (APC) could only manage to get 11 out of the 24 seats that were available in the recently concluded State Assembly elections.
The other seats were shared amongst the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). The results for the Lafia Central State Constituency is still inconclusive.
While the PDP has 8 seats, the NNPP and SDP have 2 seats each.
Among the 24 members of the current 6th Assembly, only 10 of them have secured a return ticket to be part of the 7th Assembly. Three members (Wamba, Keffi East and Karu/Gitata State Constituencies) did not seek re-election to return to the State House of Assembly.
