N-Power: NEXIT Training For Batch A and B Beneficiaries Commences February 2022
The Federal Government’s NEXIT plan for the batch A and B beneficiaries for the social investment programme N-Power is set to commence with a training in February 2022.
The announcement was made by Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Nneka Ikem in a tweet via her official Twitter handle @nnekaikem1 on Saturday (January 29, 2022).
The said tweet states: “**ATTENTION All EXITED @npower_ng BENEFICIARIES** The 1st batch of NEXIT Training will commence in February, 2022. Kindly dial *45665# on or before Friday 4th February to check your eligibility and indicate your availability to take part in the programme.”
Our correspondent can confirm that the process was working as at Saturday afternoon when the announcement was made. Beneficiaries will however be required to first confirm that they are eligible for the training before starting the process again to indicate their availability. Each of these steps will cost and the beneficiary will be required to enter his/her BVN or phone number.
The announcement does not state the exact date the training will commence neither does it state the nature and extent of the training.
There has been a lot of agitations from batch A and B beneficiaries of the N-Power scheme who have felt unjustly treated. A number of them are yet to receive stipends for their final months on the scheme while the entire batch B beneficiaries did not receive the mobile devices promised by the scheme.
