LG Elections: Nassarawa Eggon APC Flagbearer Barr. Iliya Ibn Aliyu Expresses Deep Gratitude to APC Stakeholders, Party Officials, and Supporters For ‘Overwhelming Support’
Barr. Iliya Ibn Aliyu, the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Council Chairmanship elections coming up November 2, 2024, has extended his heartfelt appreciation to APC stakeholders, party officials, and supporters across the political spectrum for the immense love and solidarity shown following his successful declaration.

In a statement made available by his Media Campaign Manager, Umar Abdullahi Galle, Barr. Iliya acknowledged the strong support of the APC family and political stakeholders in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area and beyond. He specifically praised the peaceful and democratic process facilitated by the APC leadership, which resulted in his emergence as the consensus candidate.
“I am deeply humbled and profoundly grateful to all members of the APC in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area, the Nasarawa State leadership of the party, and our esteemed stakeholders who stood by me during the primaries and have continued to express their trust and confidence in my candidacy. This victory is not mine alone; it is a victory for our collective will to build a prosperous and inclusive Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Council,” Barr. Iliya said.
The APC Chairmanship candidate also extended special thanks to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, for his exemplary leadership and dedication to ensuring a transparent and fair selection process, and to the Nasarawa State APC Chairman, Dr. Aliyu Bello, for his steadfast commitment to upholding the democratic tenets of the party.
Barr. Iliya also took the opportunity to urge all eligible voters in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area to come out in large numbers to support the APC.
He emphasized the need for unity and collective action in electing the APC leadership that will further the development of the Local Government.
