In her words: “The polytechnic has made me who I am today. I went out on secondment leave of absence and I succeeded there because I believe that I was a good daughter that went and became a good wife. And all that, I didn’t achieve alone. I had people here that were probing me from the background.”

The new Rector said she will avoid saying too much because she is just coming in and “words are cheap”.
She begged to be given time to study and understand fully the current state of affairs in the institution.
