ISE Partners NITDA To Establish State-Of-The-Art ICT Training Centre In Nassarawa Eggon
The Islamic Society of Eggonland (ISE) in partnership with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has established a state-of-the-art ICT training centre in Nassarawa Eggon town.
The training centre which is called the NITDA/ISE Digital Economy Training Centre, was commissioned on Sunday (March 19, 2023) by the Osana of Keana, HRH Alhaji Abdullahi Agbo is situated on the second floor of Maigari Plaza adjacent the Aren Eggon Palace in Nassarawa Eggon.
Speaking about the facility, the Osana of Keana commended the ISE and NITDA for the initiative saying the impact will be felt not just in Nassarawa Eggon but all over the State.
According to him, the facility is on par with the best around the country and members of the community will do well to take full advantage to gain digital skills.
The Osana of Keana was in company of the Aren Akun, HRH Alhaji Usman Galadima Umbugadu, the Aren Eggon Erroh, HRH Alhaji Usman Hudu Makeri as well as the District Head of Wakama, HRH Adams Maka Nangba.
Also on hand to witness the commissioning was Umar Danladi Halilu Envulu-anza (Esq) and Alhaji Isiyaku Abdullahi as well as the Chairman and members of Board of ISE.
They were given a tour of the facility by the General Secretary of the ISE, Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Galle.
According to the ISE General Secretary, the facility has 16 desktop computers, a projector, fast internet connection and three different sources of power to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
He said the facility is also linked to the Federal Government’s digital literacy courses and called on both the young and old to come and register to educate themselves as there were instructors on hand to aid the learning process.
Apart from the training centre, the new ISE secretariat as well as conference room were also commissioned.
