Insecurity: Motorcycles, Keke Banned In Lafia
Motorcycles and Tricycles popularly known as going and keke respectively, have been banned from operating in Lafia the Nasarawa State capital during a specific period of time.
For motorcycles they are to stop operation from 8pm to 6am while for the tricycles it is from 10pm to 6am.
This was the resolution from an emergency security council meeting of the Lafia Local Government Council which held today (Saturday July 30, 2022) at the Lafia Local Government Secretariat.
The meeting which was chaired by the Lafia Local Government Chairman, 헛헼헻. 헔헺헶헻혂 헠혂헮혇혂 헠헮헶헳헮혁헮, also had in attendance the Emir of Lafia, HRH Justice Sidi Bage; the Sangarin Kwandere, Alhaji Ahmadu Almakura; the Osakyo of Assakio, HRH Osula Inarigu (JP), the Village Head Awuma, Zaki Awuma; the Oriye Awuma, Alhaji Isa Madaki Awuma and the Madakin Lafia, Alhaji Dauda Bage.
The Overseer of Lafia North Development Area, Hon. Yahuza A NaAllaah and that of Lafia East Development Area, Hon. Barr Haruna Muhammad as well as all the heads of security agencies in Lafia Local Government Area were also present.
Recall that there has had to be new security measures taken in Nasarawa State following the recent threats in neighbouring FCT, Niger and Kogi States.
