Hon Alkali Distributes 200 JAMB Forms to Students in his Constituency
The Member representing Lafia North Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Honourable Mohammed Ibrahim Alkali has distributed JAMB UTME forms to 200 secondary school students in his constituency.
This, he said, was to reduce the burden of JAMB registration on their parents and for the overall development of the state.

Hon. Alkai who is of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while distributing the forms in Lafia on Wednesday, said that the gesture was under his “Alkali- Talba Foundation” and aimed at improving on the standard of education in the state and the country at large.
Alkali, who is also the Deputy Chief Whip of the House urged the beneficiaries to marry their books in order to come out with good results in the examination which will in turn enable them secure admission into higher institutions.
According to him, “in this second tenure, I have a foundation known as Alkali-Talba Foundation in which I am starting with distributing JAMB forms to 200 students of my constituency.
“The second segment under the foundation will be farmers day in which I will distribute farming inputs to farmers and in the third segment, I will assist and empower people including the less privileged ones.
“You have seen what I have done during my first tenure towards impacting positively on the lives of the people of my constituency.
“I have embarked on infrastructural development projects among other projects that had direct bearing on the lives of my people and the state at large.
“I want to assure you of an effective and sound representation at the state legislature in order to improve on your standard of living,” he said.
The Honourable Member promised to continue assisting the students of the constituency and other students in securing admission into higher institutions.
Hon Alkali who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs urged the people of the constituency and Nigerians to support and pray for APC-led government at all levels to enable them succeed.
Also speaking, Alhaji Aliyu Bello, the State APC Secretary commended the lawmaker for the gesture and called for its sustenance.
Responding, Fatima James Hassan, a beneficiary who spoke on behalf of others thanked the lawmaker for the gesture.
She prayed God to bless him abundantly.
