Hadiza Ibrahim Mohammed Bags PhD In Pharmacognosy And Drug Development
A Nasarawa State citizen, Hadiza Ibrahim Mohammed has bagged a Doctorate degree in Pharmacognosy and Drug Development.
She was among those who graduated during the recent Convocation ceremony at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Dr. Hadiza Ibrahim Mohammed was born in the year 1988 to the family of Mallam Ibrahim Mohammed Akhan of Bukan Sidi, Lafia.
She obtained her secondary school certificate from Federal Science College Sokoto in 2004 before proceeding for her higher education.
An academician and researcher, Dr Hadiza currently holds the position of lecturer in the Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, at Gombe State University in North Eastern Nigeria.
She earned all her higher educational qualifications at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, culminating in a Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy and Drug Development.
A researcher, Dr. Ibrahim’s commitment to advancing knowledge is evident in the numerous scientific papers she has authored and published.
At Gombe State University, Dr. Hadiza Ibrahim Mohammed has taught a range of Pharmacognosy courses and been entrusted with the responsibility of teaching and mentoring students at various academic levels.
She actively participates in professional societies, holding memberships in both the Botanical Society of Nigeria and the Nigerian Society of Pharmacognosy. These affiliations reiterate her commitment towards collaboration within the academic and scientific community and staying informed about developments in her field.
