The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Affairs, Mr. Peter Ahemba, gave the assurance while responding to questions from journalists during the bi-monthly press briefing held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Mr. Ahemba earlier informed the press that the Nasarawa State Government had sought and obtained approval from the Federal Government to construct two new flyovers within Karu Local Government Area.

Addressing concerns that the administration, with less than two years remaining, was embarking on such monumental projects in addition to ongoing ones, the Governor’s media aide reiterated that the government is committed to completing all its projects before the end of the tenure.

He said, “The policy of the administration of Engineer Abdullahi Sule has always been to initiate and award only those projects for which there are adequate funds. These proposed flyovers will not be any different.”

Mr. Ahemba disclosed that the State Urban Development Board (NUDB) has already begun studying the terrain to determine the most suitable locations for the proposed flyovers.

He added that, when completed, the projects will help ease traffic congestion and boost economic activities within Karu and its environs.
