Governor Sule Gets Second Term As INEC Declares Him Winner Of Nasarawa Guber Polls
Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule is returning for a second term in office as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared him winner of the Saturday March 18 2023 Gubernatorial Elections which held in the State.
According to the results declared by INEC, Engr. Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged winner with a total of 347,209 votes against the 283,016 votes gotten by his closest opponent, Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Making the declaration, the returning officer for the gubernatorial election in Nasarawa State and Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos, Prof. Tanko Ishaya said: “having satisfied the requirements and having received the total votes of 347,209 by the APC with the candidate Sule Audu Alhaji, is hereby returned and declared the winner of the Governorship election in Nasarawa State.”
