Governor Sule Celebrates With Matthew Kuju On His Birthday
Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has celebrated with the founder and editor of Eggonnews, Mr Matthew Kuju on his birthday.
Speaking during the maiden edition of the annual lecture/awards ceremony organized by the Nasarawa State Private Media Owners in Lafia, Governor Sule described Mr Kuju as one whose positive impact has been felt even beyond the shores of Nasarawa State.
He said: “When I came into the office newly, at that time I didn’t know Matthew Kuju. My Press Secretary then was Yakubu Lamai and he would always come to the office saying ‘it is Matthew Kuju that is doing it’. You would think this Matthew Kuju was working for the United Nations. Until much later when I came to realise it was not the case.”
He wished Mr Matthew Kuju long life and many happy returns.
A birthday card, personally signed by the Governor was delivered to Mr Matthew Kuju by the Minister of State for Science, Technology and Innovation, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi.
Many other persons, especially citizens of Nasarawa State have taken to the social media to celebrate the veteran journalist as he clocks 63.
They wished him among many other things, sound health and prosperity.
