Gov Sule, Sen Al-Makura, Aren Koron Kuje Congratulate Emir Of Lafia On National Appointment
Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has congratulated the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Rtd on his recent appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari as Chairman of the standing committee on National Honours Award.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule said the appointment “confers on His Royal Highness the responsibility to assist Mr. President in identifying and conferring on deserving Nigerians and Friends of Nigeria with National Honours as provided in the National Honours Act CAP 43 of the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 2004 for a period of four (4) years is a proof of your pedigree as an upright Judge in your years of service and a respected Statesman.”
The Governor thanked President Buhari for finding the Emir worthy of the appointment.
In like manner, senator representing Nasarawa South at the National Assembly, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has congratulated Justice Sidi Bage on his national appointment.
The senator urged the Emir of Lafia to use his new national assignment to build bridges of peace and unity across the length and breadth of Nigeria.
Also, the Aren Koron Kuje, Chief Joseph Sunday Namo (JP) has on behalf of the people of the Koron Kuje Chiefdom, congratulated the Emir of Lafia Justice Sidi Bage Rtd, wishing him well as he embarks on the new national assignment.
The appointment of Justice Sidi Bage as Chairman, standing committee on National Honours Award took effect from August 9, 2021 and is for a period of 4 years.
