FC Basira Unveils Five Players Ahead of 2025/26 NNL Season


FC Basira has aggressively bolstered its squad with five new signings as they target promotion in the upcoming 2025/26 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Unveiled on Friday, October 3rd, the new additions are a strategic move to upgrade key positions across the team. The ceremony was attended by founder Salisu Galadima, Chairman Mr. Ahmed Usman Egye, and Technical Adviser Aminu Musa, emphasizing the club’s serious ambition.


The key acquisitions include a blend of established league players and promising talent, strategically sourced from various clubs:
-Midfielders: Abubakar Yusuf (from Marshall FC, Jos), Richard Teryila (from Binani FC, Adamawa), and Gyenimi Abashiya (from Sokoto United).
-Defense: Bello Abdullahi (from Nasarawa United).
-Goalkeeper: Ogbu M. Chidera (from JB Central Football Academy, Abuja).


FC Basira’s move signals a clear intent to compete fiercely for the top spots this season, making the NNL campaign much more competitive.
