Emergency Congress Confirms New Kick-off Date For NNL

The second tier of Nigeria club football the Nigeria National League (NNL) will kick off on February 13, 2021.

The kick-off date which was earlier scheduled for January 30th has been shifted by two weeks.

The date was agreed upon at the Emergency Congress held on Saturday January 30, 2020.

21 Clubs agreed on 13th of February, 2021 while 4 Clubs voted for 6th of February, 2021. Hence, the Congress agreed that the League commences on the 13th of February, 2021.

However, the Emergency Congress reaffirmed the January 15 decision on draws and fixtures made at the Congress.
