Dr Kigbu Makes Case For Lafia-B.A.D Road
A former federal lawmaker and prominent stalwart of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lafia, Honourable Dr Joseph Haruna Kigbu has made a case for the construction of the Lafia-B.A.D road.
Dr Kigbu said this while speaking at a town hall meeting which held at the Lafia City Hall as part of activities marking the second anniversary of Engineer Sule’s administration.
The former federal lawmaker who is also known as Daktan Talakawa appreciated Engineer Abdullahi Sule for approving the construction of the road as a rural road. He however appealed that the road be upgraded and tarred.
He said although the rural road will alleviate the hardship being experienced by commuters, a tarred road will be of better service considering the amount of economic activities that go on in that axis which he described as Bayan Garin Lafia.
According to Dr Kigbu, the completion of such a project will endear the Governor to the hearts of the people and will further ease his chances of returning in 2023.
