Dr Bawa Abimiku Laid To Rest

The remains of Dr Bawa Ahmed Abimiku has been buried.

The burial, which took place at the Gudu Cemetery, Abuja, was preceded by the funeral prayer at the National Mosque, Abuja.

The funeral prayer, led by one of the Imams of the National Mosque, Dr Muhammad Kabir, had in attendance many people from various walks of life.

Amongst the sympathisers at the funeral and burial were: Senator Solomon Ewuga, Hon Labaran Maku, Gen A. T. Umar, Alhaji D. S. Kigbu mni, Danladi Halilu Envulu-Anza Esq and Prof U. D. Umar.

Also in attendance were Alh Mamman Alakayi, Justice Yusuf Halilu Envulu-Anza, Hon Barr Mohammed Alkali, Hon Yusuf Maiangwa, Prof Salihu Alizaga and Eggon Community led the ECDA and EYM Presidents.

Dr. Bawa Abimiku’s colleagues from the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital and University of Abuja Teaching Hospital as well as former Colleagues from the Federal Medical Center Keffi and Classmates from GSS Kuru and the University of Maiduguri were also present to pay their respect.

His immediate family members led by the wife, Hajiya Hassana Abimiku and the immediate junior brother of the deceased, Alhaji Ibrahim Abimiku (the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Precious FM, Lafia) appreciated sympathisers.
