Nasarawa State has recorded 31 new cases of COVID19. This is according to the latest figures released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday (December 27, 2020) evening.
These 31 new cases brings the total number of confirmed cases from Nasarawa State to 721.
The 31 new cases are among the 838 cases recorded in the whole Nigeria. The Federal Capital Territory accounted for majority of this figure with 297 cases while Lagos State recorded the second highest with 253 before Plateau State – whose Governor recently recovered from the virus – recorded 82.
Anambra and Sokoto States recorded the least with one case each.
These latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 84,414 with 71,034 discharged and 1,254 deaths.
