COVID19: 85 Percent Of Cases In Nasarawa From Lafia, Keffi, Karu

85 percent of the 630 confirmed positive cases of COVID19 in Nasarawa State have come from just three out of the thirteen Local Government Areas of the State; Lafia, Keffi and Karu.

This was disclosed by the Acting Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr Emmanuel Akabe while briefing the press before a State security council and COVID19 taskforce meeting which held today (December 24, 2020) at the Nasarawa State Government House, Shendam Road Lafia.

He said the attention and efforts of the government will be concentrated on these Local Government Areas to ensure the problem does not spread.

The Acting Governor also called on citizens of Nasarawa State to be extra cautious especially during the festive season as relations come from other States with more cases to celebrate Christmas in Nasarawa State.
