Conjoined Twins Successfully Separated At FMC Keffi
A team of seasoned Medical Professionals have gloriously attained another wonderful feat by clinically separating a set of conjoined twins (females) at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Keffi.

In a procedure which took place at the main theatre of the medical centre and lasted for about nine hours on Friday July 10th, 2020, the conjoined twins were separated.
In a statement issued by Alhaji Mohammed Adamu, the Public Relations Officer of Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, the surgery was undertaken by 55 clinicians from diversified specialties under the able leadership of Dr. Charles Soo, a reputable Consultant (Paediatrics Surgeon).
Meanwhile, reports from the media crew of FMC Keffi indicates that the babies are still at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in hale and hearty condition.
According to the statement, the management of the FMC Keffi appreciated the Hon. Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, Minister of State for Health, Dr O. Mamora, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi A. Sule and the Governing Board (FMC, Keffi) for their support.
The management further appreciated the team and the entire staff for their efforts.
