Company Loses Three Staff In Gas Explosion
Three staff of a private steel company, Tayan Steel Nigeria Ltd, Abuja lost their lives in a gas explosion while working. The fourth person is receiving treatment at the National Hospital, Abuja and is reportedly responding to treatment.
According to the Managing Director/Chef Executive Officer of the Company, Mr Tanko Kigbu, the explosion happened while the staff were working at a site using acetylene gas, adding that while one died at the spot, two others died at different intervals when they were receiving treatment at the Hospital.
At the time going to press, the real cause for the explosion is yet unknown.
Painfully, the four affected staff were relations the Managing Director who had worked with the company for over fifteen years.
Names of the three deceased staff were given as: Manja Gambo Kigbu, Ezekiel James Kigbu and Likita Musa Engba.
According to Mr Tanko Kigbu, burial arrangements were already on and would take place on Saturday December 14, 2019 at Angba in Agidi Development Area of Nasarawa State.
Speaking to Eggonnews, Mr Tanko Kigbu said the Kigbu family is greatly grieved losing young and enterprising men.
