Clerics, Traditional Rulers, Politicians Grace 3-day Prayer For Najib, Son Of Nassarawa Eggon Council Boss
A 3-day prayer for late Najib Danlami Idris, the son of the Executive Chairman of Nassarawa Eggon Local Government, Mohamed Danlami Idris has held.
The prayer was held at the residence of his Grand Father, Mohammed, behind the palace of Aren Eggon in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government.
Dignitaries from all walks of life, far and near attended the 3-day prayer. Some of whom included, the Deputy Chairman of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government, Benjami Manga, Aren Eggon Erro, Usman Hudu Makeri, Hakimi Alizaga, Sule Dogo Andah and the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Sule, Yusuf Mada amongst others.
The Deputy Chairman of the Local Government Area, Benjamin Manga, conveyed the sympathies of the management and staff of the council for the death of Najib and prayed Allah (SWAT) to grant him peaceful rest.
Manga described the death of the deceased as a big loss to the locality and the State, considering his life’s dream and aspirations.
He urged the chairman to accept the death in good faith, according to him, God gives and takes same when it pleases him.
The Aren Eggon Erro, Usman Hudu Makeri, prayed God to comfort the Chairman and his family for the loss and urged him to see the passage of Najib as the will of God.
He used the medium to pray for the Aren Eggon, Justice Ahmed Ubangari and the well being and development of the locality.
After recitation of the Holy Quran in honour of late Najib, a special prayer, led by the Chief Imam of Bakyono, Ustaz Abubakar, was also held for the repose of the deceased to rest in Aljanatu Firdausi.
The Late Najib died on Thursday, 3rd August, 2023, at a private hospital in Jos, after a protracted illness at the age of 22 years.
The corpse has since been buried according to Islamic rights in Jos, Plateau State.
