Senator Godiya Akwashiki Wins At The Court of Appeal
The Court of Appeal sitting in Makurdi has affirmed the election of Senator Godiya Akwashiki today.
Recall that the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal had on 26th of July 2019, affirmed the victory of the Senator in a unanimous judgment.
Not satisfied, the petitioner, Chief Michael Abdul went to the Court of Appeal, Makurdi
In a ruling today, the Court of Appeal affirmed the election of the Senator representing Nasarawa North Senatorial District.
