Breach Of Covid-19 Protocols: Investigating Committee Submits Report To Nasarawa State FA

The investigative committee set up by the Nasarawa State Football Association to investigate the breach of the Covid-19 rules on the ban of footballing activities by the presidential task force through the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have submitted it’s official report.

The committee was setup a week ago (September 1, 2020) to investigate the  FAs of Karu and Keffi LGAs who allegedly breached the ban on football due to Covid-19 pandemic by hosting footballing tournament in their respective Local Governments during the lockdown.

The committee was given a week to conclude investigations and submit the report.

The committee made the necessary findings within the stipulated time and have submitted the report to the Nasarawa State FA Vice Chairman Haladu Akwashiki who had inaugurated the committee on behalf of the State FA chairman Alh. Mohammed Alkali. 

The Chairman of the Committee, Ahmed Bello Mohammed who presented the report on behalf of the committee appreciated the FA for the opportunity to serve the State in making sure the local FA’s and clubs adhere to protocols when they laid down.

The State FA vice chairman Haladu Akwashiki who received the report on behalf of the State FA chairman, congratulated the committee for meeting up with the target within the stipulated period.

He said the FA will look into the report and take the necessary actions from the findings and recommendations of the committee.

The three-man committee which was inaugurated exactly a week ago by the Nasarawa State FA was chaired by Ahmed Bello Mohammed while Usman Ibrahim and Hon. Auwalu Adamu served as secretary and member respectively.
