He that faints in the days of adversity, his strength is small.
Usually, if a war gets to you unprepared, you are always the one worst hit, not because you have less war skills or no fight in you at all but because you were battle relaxed.
To be able to overcome anything in time, proactive measures guarantee quicker and excellent results than the reactive measures. Even at that, no action at all is even more dangerous.
Another kind of them are those who are battle-ready and the weapons of their warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
In a moment like this, in Him we live, move and have our being, completely hidden in Christ and Christ in God. That’s the only safety measure that cannot be questioned.
One of the ways to keep the deadly virus away is through some hygiene activities which are not grievous at all but also not easy to adhere to. Washing of hands, keeping your hands away from your eyes, nose and tongue or generally making sure that the virus doesn’t find its way to your throat is not rocket science but being conscious of it absolutely requires more grace than anything. So, if the Lord does not watch over us, we watch over ourselves in vain.
As much as you follow every preventive measure put in place by the people who have studied how the virus works and how it can be eradicated out of our lives, you must also follow what the word says as well, not only read it but profess it over your life.
Who is it that wants to see great days, he must keep saying it. This is the time to prove the word of God over our lives and believe it to produce the result of what it talks about. This too shall pass. Nothing catches God by surprise. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Truly He’s got the whole world in His hands.
As much as you can, do all you can to stay safe and help someone else stay safe. Avoid looking at how bad the situation is, this is not to be in denial but be in faith, some people might put themselves in situations where they might not even die of the virus but die because of the fear of it.
A woman that has been a figure in my life lost her life some years back in an almost accident, the car almost hit a car in front of them and she screamed and died instantly, right there and that accident never even occurred, it was a traumatizing experience for us all because she didn’t even die of an accident and she was on her was for a burial. Fear has caused more havoc than what it is that we fear.
Keep a positive spirit towards what is going on right now.
He will keep him in perfect peace, him whose heart is stayed on Him. There are people who are chilling in the midst of this pandemic because the peace of God that surpasses all understanding has their hearts garrisoned, after all, one of His promises remains that, He gives His beloved sound sleep.
May you experience peace in the midst of this storm.
It is also our prayers that in this period, we will be divinely supplied of all we require that pertains to life and godliness. May there not be lack of any kind, when others say that there is a casting down, we are highly lifted above all that threatens life and peace.
Gloominess, depression, anxiety, boredom, down moments are also as deadly as the virus too, so adopt a way to feel good no matter how much you are pushed to feel terrible. Avoid unnecessary exposure to information that goes round to sniff hope, some are not even true.
May we be strong and hearty after all this is over.
It is solely by His mercies that we are not consumed and we give Him all the glory.
Stay safe and help someone else stay safe as well. We shall overcome because this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.
