Ambassador Henry Omaku Expresses Gratitude To NSUK Management Over Distinguished Alumnus Award

Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the Republic of Sierra Leone, His Excellency, Ambassador Henry Omaku, has expressed his gratitude to the management of the Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) for the Distinguished Alumnus Award bestowed upon him during the recent convocation ceremony of the institution.

In a statement by Ambassador Henry Omaku which was made available to the press, the diplomat said the award was a testament that his acts of service have not gone unnoticed and promised to do even more for the development of his alma mater, NSUK.

He also called on other alumnus of NSUK to do well to also contribute as government alone cannot take the school to the level it needs to be to be counted among the best in the country, the continent and the world at large.

The NSUK Distinguished Alumnus Award according to the school management, was presented to Ambassador Henry Omaku in recognition of his outstanding achievements in his chosen field of endeavor, as well as his exceptional service to the university and the community at large.

The award was presented to him by the Chief of Staff to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.

His Excellency, Ambassador Henry Omaku, a Fellow of the Nigeria Chartered Institute of Management and a holder of the traditional title Giwan Doma, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration all from the Nasarawa State University Keffi.
