Aklosendi International FC Set For New Season, Retains 17 Players

Monday January 4, 2020 will see Aklosendi International FC Lafia resume officially as the NNL made announcement for the commencement of new season which will kick off soon after a year of no league.

If you recall, Aklosendi FC played its last game against Green Beret FC in Zaria in December, 2019 which the league went on Christmas break and never resumed due partly to the coronavirus pandemic.

A statement from the team manager James Allu indicates that the team will resume training at the team’s training ground on Monday 4th January, 2021.

The statement called on the retained players, technical crew and other backroom staff to resume as training commence in earnest as the Nigerian National League will kickoff later in the month.

The retained players include David Kessan, John Ogbe, Emmanuel Illiya, Ovye Apla, Alhaji Adamu, Luka Kudu, John Aguda, Benjamin Ikyva and Mustapha Usman.

Others include Abdulmumini Nuhu, Dangbin Gosselle, Abdullahi Ismail, Dingba Chi, Clement Fidelis, Esson Ayiga and Ayuba Philip.
