A Historic Flight: Nasarawa United Takes to the Skies for Crucial NPFL Tie Against Ikorodu City FC

NASARAWA UNITED is made history today! For the first time in the club’s existence, the Solid Miners have flown to a domestic match venue, departing Abuja for Lagos aboard a Max Air flight to face Ikorodu City FC in a crucial NPFL Match-day Nine fixture.
The 46-man delegation, which departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, is full of confidence. The playing squad is backed by a powerhouse contingent, including Chairman Solomon Babanjah and a robust leadership team.
The trip spotlights the strong state commitment to the club, with the delegation being led by the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu. Other high-profile officials include twelve top government functionaries, among them the State Football Association’s Chairman, Salisu Galadima, and Hon. Larry Ven Bawa.
